Time frame

For technical design and construction drawings for execution, the time limits for fire prevention and fighting design appraisal and approval calculated from fully submitting the valid dossier are as follows:
- Within 15 working days for projects and constructions of Group A;
- Within 10 working days for projects and constructions of Group B and Group C.
The classification of projects and constructions to Group A, B, C shall be carried out under the Government’s provisions on construction investment project management.

Additional information

Number of application file: 2 sets. The application file must be certified by investors and translated the explanations into Vietnamese if they are in foreign language.
Project and works prescribed in Appendix IV to Decree No. 79/2014/ND-CP, when being newly constructed, renovated or utility-related changed, must be appraised and approved in term of fire prevention and fighting design by fire prevention and fighting police agencies.
Based on the nature and scale of project or construction works, fire prevention and fighting police agencies may either fire prevention and fighting police department of Ministry of Public Security or fire prevention and fighting police department of Hanoi People's Committee. We only describe here case that the appraisal and approval of fire prevention and fighting design is made by fighting police department of Hanoi People's Committee.
Fire prevention and fighting police department shall issue certificate of fire prevention and fighting for technical design or design drawings for execution dossiers.
